Finland will transfer this week, 47 military trainers to Iraq, who will work on training Kurdish forces fighting organization “ISIS”, as reported by a Finnish station television.
Major-General in the Finnish ground forces , Petri Holko said that the first group of trainers, which consists of about 20 people are currently in Erbil city, but the second group will join them in the coming days, and will begin training Kurds after two or three weeks from their arrival, and said that they would spend one year in Iraq .
Norway, Denmark and Germany, as Sweden announced its intention to participate in training Kurdish forces by sending military trainers to Iraq.
The international coalition led by the United States bombed since August 2014 locations of “ISIS” in Iraq and Syria.
