Iraq’s Ministry of Defense announced the death of the so-called “ISIS war minister” in an air strike in Salah-al-Din province.
Iraqi state television said in breaking news “the so-called ISIS war minister has been killed in a successful air strike by the army’s aviation force in Salah-al-Din.”
This morning, security forces have begun an operation to liberate the western areas of Salahuddin province, while the Office of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced the beginning of an operation to liberate Anbar province, as well as cleansing the areas surrounding Baiji city, north of Tikrit, which contains one of the largest oil refineries in the country.
