A 21-year-old man purportedly linked to the Islamic State [IS] group was arrested while trying to cross into Bulgaria from a check point at the border with Turkey, police say.
The young IS affiliate was sought with an Interpol Red Notice, according to daily Standart which quoted police sources.
Name spelling is yet to be verified.
The man has been placed in custody at a Haskovo detention center for 72 hours.
